Top 10 in Points for 2006: Garrett finished the 2006 season at the Motor Mile Speedway 10th in points.
September 2, 2006: Another Top 10 Finish: Garrett had another great qualifying run and qualified 1st again tonight. He ended the night in the top 10 with a 9th place finish.

July 29, 2006: 11th Place Finish: Garrett qualified fifth and finished 11th tonight.
July 22, 2006: Double Race Night Leads to Top 5 Finish: Garrett qualified 5th tonight and finished the first race in 16th place. In the second race of the night Garrett raced to a 4th place finish!
July 8, 2006: 13 Place Finish: Garrett qualified sixth and finished 13th tonight.
June 17, 2006: Top 10 Finish: Garrett qualified ninth and finished 8th, for another top 10.
June 10, 2006: 14th Place Finish: Garrett qualified ninth and finished 14th tonight.
June 3, 2006: First Place Finish!: Garrett qualified 2nd tonight out of 31 cars. In the first of two 50 lap races Garrett was chasing the defending track champion for 40 laps before Garrett was able to get by and capture his first win of the season! In the second race Garrett was fighting for second place when he swapped paint with another car, bringing out the caution flag on lap 34. This sent Garrett to the back of the pack, but he was still able to come back with a top 10 finish, in 8th place.

May 20, 2006: Top 5 Finish!: Tonight Garrett qualified 3rd and finished 3rd, riding the bumper of the 2nd place car across the finish line.

May 13, 2006: Movin' On Up: After qualifying 2nd, Garrett continued his climb to the top. He led the race for 10 laps! The car developed an oil leak which got on his tires and made the car loose in the turns! But with skill and determination Garrett hung on for a 6th place finish. Another top 10!

April 23, 2006: Another Good Night for Qualifying: Garrett qualified 5th tonight. He fell back to 14th out of 28 by the end of the night.

April 15, 2006: Just Warmin' Up: Garrett qualified 3rd, and finished with his first Top Ten of the season, in 7th place, out of 24.

April 9, 2006: Start Your Engines!: Garrett's first race of the season was at the "Motor Mile Speedway" in Radford, Va.
Practice was good, 2nd fastest out of 33. After practice he put new tires on to get ready for qualifying and had a screw in one of the tires! He qualified 12th out of 33. He moved up to 7th place in race and was passing the 6th place car when he had to slow down to keep from hitting a lapped car. Garret and the 6th place car got into it, and caution came out. At the restart, the track put him back to 14th place. This all happened on lap 90 out of 100! He finished 13th for the night.
